The Bride of Christ: What IS she doing??

The present churches are apostate. The Scriptures tells us that true believers will be invited to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb, Micah 4: 1-2; Isa 2, they are members of the body and not the Bride Eph 5: 30. The Bride, the Lamb's wife made herself ready. Rev 19: 7; 21: 9. Rev 12. She is the true Church, Body, New Jerusalem & one woman who shall be mother of all born again. Gal 4: 26. She is the Church of Philadelphia Rev 3:7-13, the daughter of Zion & God dwells in her Zechariah 2: 10.

@abideandwait thanks for dropping by. Yes, there is the visible (professing as well as true believers) and invisible (bride) church. Not all the bride is walking perfectly. There are some that need a "wake up call". The real bride will heed Scripture, turn around and walk in holiness

Thanks. At least I am glad to see someone who understands the truth. It grieves my heart to see grown men and women claim to be the bride of Christ and hop into the Lord's bed when Scriptures clearly tells us the Lamb of God has one Bride/Body & Wife who is Jerusalem or Zion, the true Church (Revelation 21: 9 & Song of Solomon). They are no longer satisfied with being children or members of the body according to Scriptures (Ephesians 5: 30), they just wanna be his wives..

With all respect I believe the Bride is God's people of all generations. The City is simply where they dwell. God is not concerned about the gold and precious jewels that the city is made of but the people that dwell there. Blessings in Christ!!

The church is NOT the bride of Christ. Read Revelation 21:9-10 to learn of the bride, the Lambs wife.

Regarding unity, Jesus prayed, Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.... that they all may be one... The only reason for division is that Christians do not believe Gods Word. Oneness only comes through sanctification in Gods Word.

I loved the line, "The Bride of Christ is a little schizophrenic" XD But your statement is true: we should be acting as one body and we keep drawing lines and dividing ourselves and fight with ourselves. Thanks for sharing.

omg i love the guy running around hitting himself. will never forget that one when i think of the divisions in the church. It puts it in such plain perspective though.

there is scripture by paul that even says, I do not pray for this world, but for the body.

God has really laid that one my heart lately.

AMEN!!! A house divided cannot stand! satan is using fellow Christians to drive a wedge between us.

Jesus said by your love for each other all will know you are my disciples. We need to stand together, and to those who only wish to fight cut them loose.
