Red Star Pilots Association
March Meet @ Flying W Airport
Lumberton, New Jersey
Sunday March 22, 2009

IN THIS VIDEO, you will see activity at the Flying W Airport on Sunday - the final day of the Red Star Pilots Association fly-in. The video here shows airport activity using Runway 19 as the active runway, and you will see a pair of North American Texans take off, some general aviation, and some CJ-6A engine starts. The video was shot between 10:15 am and 10:40 am, just prior to climbing into the back seat of a CJ-6A for another mission. There are two more videos like this one that were shot on Sunday...

Once again, I would like to acknowledge all of the pilots of the Red Star Pilots Association for their kindness, hospitality, and assistance in making all of the videos from that weekend possible.

Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • Are those A-6A "Texan"s?

  • The first one is a T-6 while the second one is an SNJ. I saw the plane parked on the ramp when we got there, and I immediately thought it was Jim Beasley's... but it wasn't.

  • @airshowfansh The SNJ is the same thing as a T-6 just a Navy version

  • yup you got to love the old ones.

  • The second one is a SNJ, but I think the first might be.
