  • Harry Reid (D-NV) thinking the public and Senate are both distracted by the Paulson plan to bailout Wall Street intends to continue the ban on oil shale drilling.

He is doing it right now.

Call your Senator right now at (202)224-3121 and tell him to tell Harry Reid not to put the drilling ban back in the continuing resolution.

Section 1602 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2008 needs to get tossed.

  • Leftist lies!!!! The media is so leftist bios a spoll in the gulf would be front page.

  • I believe the senate floor is more reminiscent of Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice than anything else.

  • Mcbush is going to flip flop away from his answer if someone tells him that there were spill in the gulf.

  • Speculation has nothing to do with the change in the price of oil. In the old days speculators - those going long - were called investors. I think anyone working for a company would welcome investors. The problem is Harry Reid and the rest of Congress that allow the Federal Reserve to run rampant.
