  • @mrfalconlemat least it had one

  • For October 20010 this was pretty advanced

  • 500 bucks now...

  • This is a very good concept but the problem is that it's too expensive to be used mainstream like it is shown in this video.

  • asus slate ftw

  • @Adrianlunnon

    not with a normal device.

  • Новое поколение просто супер каждому иметь его в кармане

  • why this shit dont have 3g and gps ?

  • ASUS SLATE FTW! :D

  • I want to use this for buisness meetings thar are videorecorded. Is it possible to have the rear camera running while at the same time using word to type?

is there a software that does this. That puts the window for videorecording in the tray or something?

  • 3MP camera. LOL what a joke.

  • Why do people compare this with the ipad? They are both totally different products. This runs a full version of windows which the ipad will never be able to do. Heck they don't even allow flash on there devices. This is more for the business people who have software that's specially built for PCs so it makes sense to have one of these.

  • @smartdon007 Hmm How the restaurant use of the ipad lame ? Just curious; I belive you have the correct thinking idea here. As a eating customer;I have notice some of my favorite eating places here in DC raise there menu prices EVERY time the equipment is upgraded; Example a a Giant Food grocery store , near my work place, now digital scales with menu screens AND advertising for the produce section

  • ipad2 has no phone feature like hp slate does...

  • @CliftonPhotographer well...they had this article on CNN where this restaurant owner in ATL has started to use ipads for their menu and to get orders..

    NOW THT IS LAME !!!!

  • @oithachiei0 Serious?

  • @Adrianlunnon I suppose one could stream them from a more powerful server.

  • Apple is arrogant and stupid!!!! im glad that HP is being more American, open and free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • not hating on the product but this is one of the lamest commercials ever.

  • The use of the tablet by the waiter was my favorite!

  • "It's our anniversary... uhhuhaha"

  • iPad 2 Continued:

    1GHz dual-core Apple A5 custom-designed, high-performance, low-power system-on-a-chip

Back camera: Video recording, HD (720p) up to 30 frames per second with audio; still camera with 5x digital zoom.

Front camera: Video recording, VGA up to 30 frames per second with audio; VGA-quality still camera

Aside from that, the HP Slate seems better, since the iPad 2 runs a mobile OS... even though the iPad 2 has an HD camera... it still lacks the OS I want, which is a desktop OS.
