Ron Vitello is a billiards player and coach from New York City. He and a friend were the first to put phenolic tips on jump cues in 1992. This is a little history on what he called the"Jump Rod". It was a jump cue that could jump over balls no more than a dollar bill thickness apart. After immediately selling several hundred cues, they were promptly banned.
@iralee3c Your kick game still needs to be excellent. You can't jump well over long distances, and most leagues and tourneys don't let "B" or "C" players even raise the cue above a 30 degree angle, which is necessary for eskimo jumping.
