-sighs- true. Though I think that the Green Berets was Waynes best directorial effort. Then again, Clint has an advantage that Wayne didn't with much better special effects and fighting tactics for movies that weren't even available to Wayne.

@fishordie2 I'd have to agree, as much as I love the Duke and his persona. I heard he got booed out of the room when he went to visit a military hospital after making Sands of Iwo Jima.

@RandomArtistry John Wayne said a lot of stuff like that. i always believed he was full of BS, but that's just my opinion. he has no right to talk about Clint like that when Clint actually fought in a war and not just on the silver screen.
