The 5th Annual Chicago Walk Now for Autism Kick-off was a rousing success, attracting 275 supporters to the Westin O'Hare in Rosemont, Ill., on Friday, February 29, 2008.
Autism Speaks co-founders Bob and Suzanne Wright addressed the crowd, touching upon the organizations many accomplishments of 2007, the upcoming year's walk goals, World Autism Awareness Day, and Autism Speaks' partnership with the Shafallah Center. Chicago Walk Chair Lee Jorwic spoke about the importance of fundraising.
