Bluefin fishing off the Gloucester Coast has been great for a few years. Most fish in 2008 were between 100-150lbs. The length was between 50-60". This video is in HD quality. Sometimes it may have a slow load time. If so just check back later and it may load better. HD is still new to YouTube.

  • We didnt have a belt harness. Hard on the Stomach. 7 foot rod didnt help. 15lb drag is a lot on a spinning rod. My Penn 50's are set at 20lbs with 100lb test. That does the job in less than an hour.

  • was that really between 100-150?

  • I think that fish was 62 inches long. Most of the tuna in that size range have been around 140 or so in weight. The 50 inch fish have been around 100lbs.
