another winner for Tatsuro Yamashita. I like his wife's music as well, Takeuchi Mariya's music has a lot of influences from amercian rock and roll music. I would call her the Carole King of Japan

Tatsuro Yamashita is my all time favorate japanese singer even lots of his songs in japanese dont understand it but still love it very much and he is famous in hawaii too but not easy to get his albums and he has been around since the 70s but rather just listen to his songs then watching him singing lol

I was not born yet when this song was popular but I am Tatsuro yamashita adorer..GOD!! he sang songs so sweet and his soft voice is so wonderful, and his english hatsuon is very great

I'm Japanese and I always wonder why Tatsuro can sing songs in English in his own sweet way. I once asked my American friend about Tatsuro's pronunciation and she said "This guy's perfect." I think Tatsuro has an incredible ears and he can listen the subtle lines even if it is in English. Otherwise; he can't sing like this.
