  • That was crazy. Tomo do you think you can put some lessons up on slap picking funk/jazz grooves? Stuff that John does on breakdowns of like "neon" and whatnot. I've been really trying to create some grooves

    Thanks

  • @MicahAlfaro Thank you! I am planning to do a series of lessons on YouTube soon.

  • what an exceptional groove steve has, no one can quite playing a solid pocket like him, however, i feel like this type of solo works in many cases in many parts of the usa, but not everywhere..i feel like a solo like this in south america, or germany or anyewhere in eastern europe or sweden would not necessarily bore the crowd but steve is playing this kinda of stuff all through mayers music so it might get monotonous to a savvy "musiciany" crowd that has seen the likes of weckl and colaiuta

  • @chook2148 :-) :-) ... happy easter!

  • @mads32 amen

  • 1 person woudln't notice if God played the drums ..

  • This guy never ceases to amaze me. As a drummer I have no idea how he keeps track of himself and coordinates all of that.
