You know that doesn't sound any different than my stock exhaust. I have cut out a couple of cats (on the up and downpipe) and my car sounds just like this. I think I will just keep it hahaha.

Best sounding exhaust for the WRX. Not loud and obnoxious but means total business. Doesn't scream 'Look at me! I need attention.' Also doens't have that foldgers coffe can look.

This is the exhaust I want for my 2004 wrx wagon. I like it because it's not obnoxiously loud and it still keeps the dual-tip exhaust look (makes it seem like stock).

when you say catted... you mean you deleted the cat on the downpipe?

it's not about if it gains 5hp or 50hp from a catback it's breathing better so your car is responding better then it did stock

catted means the invidia downpipe has a catalytic converter.

Show me a dyno run where a WRX gained any power from a cat back only. Once more work is done to the car a CBE might free up an insignificant amount of power, but on an otherwise stock car there would be no hp difference between having an aftermarket CBE or the stock unit.

Hey thats a cool exhaust, I just recently bought a 03 wrx and was lookn to get a exhaust kind of like that, one that will give power but wont really draw TOO much attention from the cops, Do you have any idea what kind of horse power gains you recieved??

Just a catback wont give you any hp, the downpipe is where the hp gains come from. Add a downpipe and Cobb accessport and they claim about 50 hp and 65 lb-ft.
