It works for me.. actually im watching this off of my fone's WIFI.. i didn't know bout this til a friend told me bout it.. i followed all the steps nd it's really fast since i get great service at my house.. hopefully they don't find out and cut my service off.. thanks a lot man :)

FYI as of FEB 2012, You need one of the original Optimus V's before they got over popular and were then tweaked and updated. You need it to run Froyo '2.2.1' not 2.2.3

hey im norval I just got my phone 2 days ago n my hot spot wnt work I did everythin on yur video and it keeps telling me network unavailable :( can u plz help me? I wud really appreciate it. I hope vm didnt block it.

@Chrisflores555 No you didn't block it. There are no restrictions on using this app. Try a different app I found. Its called tethering widget. You are also suppose to be able to use your usb as tethering instead of wifi

Careful using this though they found out cut my service! I called virgin bs they said I'm not allows to use all that bandwith from my phone :(
