@jessyrules1000 The definition of alive (scientifically) is it takes in nutrients, absorbs/breath co2/oxygen and responds to stimuli among other things, a fetus fits all of these characteristics; therefore it is alive.

@RapLegendsRelapse I do not believe or follow any religion, I am pro-life.Although I am not unreasonable;and I do support abortion in certain cases, like the one you listed. If a woman is raped she should have that option, also if the mother has HIV. Society is so bent up on teaching that every action has a consequence, but when it comes down to human life it all of a sudden doesn't count?Like it says in the Dec.of Independence everyone has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

@jessyrules1000 Oh, so it's ok to kill something if it doesn't fit your definitions of 'alive'? It is alive, the definition of a living human being is that it has a pulse, takes in nutrients etc. The fetus, after a certain period of time, has a pulse. You may argue that then it's ok it you perform the abortion before this date; but you're still robbing it of the life if could have been.. think about it; now that the cells are dead that person that could have been will never get a shot at life.
