the first train to run on the newly re-layed Helston Branch since it shut on 4th of oct 1964

the Helstone Railway preservation society have spent the past 4 years clearing the track bed and preserving the wonderful Helston Branch.
within the last 4 years they have managed to purchase some of the track bed between Truthall Halt and the edge of the beautifull Travarno Estate. the Travarno estate has also allowed them access to the track bed across the Estate where they are currently constructing the ALL NEW TRAVARNO HALT.
