@raimundough it used to be able to cycle the cheap winchester low brass...but for some reason it wont anymore...which is fine though because i just got my hands on a reloading setup for 12 gauge...so ill just be loading all my own shot from now on.
@raimundough my friend and i did the conversion, we had a had to do a bit of extra milling on the receiver to make the double hook FCG fit, but it was nothing but a little more grinding/filing work. i sanded the bolt with 600 grit sandpaper until it was super smooth to the touch, some of the milling marks are still visible but i dont mind. i believe we are shooting 2 3/4" remington 00 buck.
It looks good. Did you do it yourself? I like the polished bolt. That's the way I want mine to look & shoot when I convert mine. What kind of shells were you shooting?
