cavitation issue more of a design...er redesign problem.
from 4 fluters to 5. more hp new nozzles
they are fighting each other for water. also i think the nozzle struts have something to do with it

what year built at st. louis ship i worked there 77 to 81 believed worked on constructing this M.V, WE BUILT THE BEST .

had er on dock before, the engineer and capt are a lot cooler than on the martha.
i wonder if the bronson has the cavitation problems in the nozzles that the martha did.
(martha ingram used to be dick connerley)

Good Question being they are sister build. Did you all get the cavitation issue fixed?

When did they change the name. I was on the OH and the Bruce Brown back in the 80's

She was originally the J. S McDermott and was rechristened the E. Bronson Ingram in May of 2004.
The Bruce Brown was renamed the A. Steve Crowley but was sold by Ingram and is now operating on the Parana River in Argentina as the Estrella Del Litoral
The original O.. H. Ingram built by SLS is the Ocie Clark and still owned by Ingram. They still have a boat named O.H. Ingram that is a Dravo Viking class.
