  • The Carbs have not yet been balanced so it running alittle uneven also the bike exhausts dont help as there is no balance pipe

  • I think it sounds more like an old VW BEETLE from the 1970s!! you know the ones with the two pea shooter chrome pipes out the back! or even an old aircooled camper van!

  • @mainman2999 Its the exhausts that make it sound this way

  • Any dynanometer numbers please?

    Thanks

  • @maxmc89 we can produce anything up to 335bhp from 4.6 for road use too.but not so much with twin carbs, essemtaily its the torque that's most important.

  • @scousebastard what, the VW Beetle and aircooled camper van? yes, the same, but if i had just put camper van, that could have meant anything! i suppose I shoulda put vw beetle or vw camper van! hey ho. I still prefer a BDA at 9 or 10,ooo revs myself! cheers.

  • @mainman2999 same engines. no ?

  • @RPIEngineering Cool! all you have got to do now is get some exhausts that make a vw sound like a small block chevy and you have struck gold !!

  • pretty sure it's because it's on carbs tbh

  • What's the clattering sound in rovers? Is it the distributor or rockers or what?

  • Best sounding engine ever made.
