My stepmother used to do that when my younger sister would throw a tantrum. Usually it would end with all of us dissolving into laughter, since the sight of a 20-something year old woman throwing a tantrum in the middle of our living room was hilarious. She never tried it in a store.

I actually saw a woman start to imitate her son in the grocery when he threw a fit like this. She would actually turn to him and say "this is what you look like" and then start to do a little tantrum. One of those things you never forget.
