  • I'm guessing you have to have gary willis's bass (ergonomic like) in order pull of his technique. I don't think I've seen anyone else play "Willis" style with another type of bass....?

  • You can apply the Willis technique on any bass, but the ramp is recommended.

  • Man, I want one of those. Too bad that they're so goddamn expensive :(

  • Otherwise, there has also GWB35, not as good as GWB1005, but it's a great bass for its price

  • What kind of bass is that?

  • It's a Ibanez GWB1005

  • ughhhhhhhhhhh!! love that palm muting finger style technique..your awesome..just awesome!

  • as for them being expensive..... that is what makes owning one so special.... as not everyone has one. No, I do not have one..... yet.

  • you can do what I did and sand all the black off...once you do that It looks just like the 1005 model....just a thought

  • Yeah, I've been thinking of buying one. Too bad that it doesn't have the natural wood look though. Have you tried it out?

  • Yeah, I've never seen that before.
