This is Draco. My 1993 Chevy S10. It has a 4.3 V6. Draco is a common dragon name. This is why I named it Draco.

  • kool. well goodluck in your ventures. =]

  • yep those are my reasons! More power more torque not as much weight so it still turns fair! And gas milage to cruise around town and its different!

  • wow. if i had a 327 paired with a 4 speed id keep it and put that in your vega. but if you really want the 4.3 i suggest getting AFCO motor mount adaptor plates. they are safe and easy way to put any powerplant in anything. after that your vega should be plentiful in the torque and horsepower and get good gas mileage too.

  • Does give a cool effect and I plan on doing the same thing once I get mine! Im buying a 327 with a 4 speed trans and trading it for a TBI 4.3 V6 in a running S10 then im converting it to carb and droping it into my 74 chevy vega any tips?

  • its not, the motor is out of time so it ignites the fuel as it goes into the intake valve on cylinder 3 i think. then it all blows back out with the compression and does this. im rebuilding this motor and another 4.3 and i have $400 in performance parts. ready to rock.

  • that doesnt look healthy?
