I have a deep with my colony of bees ready for a super to be added to it. I'd like to get a super like yours in which I can harvest comb honey from it. I am having a hard time understanding what exactly I should order when getting my new super. I hear it should be wooden frame and with a thin foundation, but what size super do I need, is it the medium or shallow? I don't want to order the wrong thing as my bees need a new super soon and don't want to delay. thanks if you can answer me.

@Alina674 Due to your questions, I will soon make a video preparing a shallow super for comb honey. I use the shallow super and then foundation that does not have any wire in the foundation. be sure to use 10 frames and divide the space equally between all frames. My video will help you and I will try to make it today. Thank you, Tim Durham Sr.

@Alina674 Sorry being so long getting back to you. Our bees really keep us busy. WE run shallow supers for comb honey and I believe that will be best for you as well. The bee supply house will guide you to get the thin foundation when you tell them you are going for comb honey. Hope this helps Good luck. Tim Sr.
