Kelly Price can saaang, no doubt. But yah no... can't imagine anyone touching Shirley Murdock on this one. There's just something in Shirley's voice that can't be duplicated nor upstaged.

You misinterpret my response. I was refuting another commentor who compared two black singers. When I talk about black folk always judging between singers and not enjoying the talent, I mean it. I too am black. It is the same as you making any statement that pertain to whites. This does not mean you are a racist against your ethnic group; it means that you are making a point. There's really no reason to bring in the race factor because I'm as white as you can get..lol But I'm the BIGGEST RICK JAMES, Zapp&Roger, Gap Band, SoS Band, and so on fan that you can find. I grew up on 80's music. Late 70's and 80's IMO is the best music ever made...
