Amidst the turmoil of the 111th Congress, which included such egregious legislation as Cap-and-Trade and ObamaCare, the Republican Study Committee created this video to illustrate how Washington has strayed from the ideas that made our nation great. Freedom and prosperity do not spring from government's power to tax, borrow, and spend. Instead we must get Washington out of the way and allow private enterprise to thrive.

Paying with credit was started in the 70's under Clinton. You really should double check your history. PS. I lived through the 70's and 80's and was always involved in politics. As for "negligence during the AIDS crisis" News flash! The President's responsibilities does not include medical treatments for people who couldn't keep their paints zipped up, their drug needles out of their arms and not wearing gloves when handling blood. It was Carter, Bush & Clinton who raised taxes. Overseas Job shipping happened under Carter, Bush & Clinton. The fairness doctrine was censorship of free speech. Providing arms for our allies was the right thing to do. Regan had no idea that they would betray us latter....
