The Baltic Sea is heavily polluted by industrial and agricultural pollutants. Untreated sewage, which for centuries has been dumped into the sea, is one of those major pollutants. This video is about how NEFCO (Nordic Environment Finance Corporation), together with Vodokanal, the St.Petersburg, Russia, waterworks company is doing its part to clean up the Baltic Sea by financing wastewater treatment operations.
