Mourning - Beneath the Forest of Solitude

This is probably one of the last live shows that Mourning ever had. Live at the Spirit club in San Diego CA in 1994. Sunny San Diego is a hard place to dish out feelings of woe. Mourning was over within one year. I've always regreted that this band didn't stay together. In the end, it wasn't myself that let it get away.

The band never had a chance to finish the album they created. All the parts are recorded and I have the tapes, but no 8-track reel-to-reel to finish it. It was never mixed down. That is why I'm releasing this "live" version. It's the only thing I have to remember that is of "OK" value.

The video is just a bunch of clips from BBC motion video and another youtube user by the name of eirikso.

Well...Mourning is no more and never released their music, but My Life's Despair's music will be available at the normal distributing sites by the end of the year. iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody, etc...

I randomly saw that they're back together for some shows. They're at my local club in December. I will see them. I heard their songs on their myspace that are on my cd....but the current songs are different. The songs sound totally different and the voice is a bit different to.

it had to have been 5 years ago or so when I was 11 years old, that my friend gave me Mourning- Blinded By Hate. I don't know if it was considered a demo or what but it had 5 songs on it. 1. Impending Doom 2. Entormented Visions 3. The Ballad Of Joel 4. Destroying The Innocent 5. Embrace The Apocalypse From then on I loved Mourning.
