This shot was taken at Karang Taraje, Malingping Beach, 55 km from Pelabuhan Ratu, West Java. Quiet surprising there's a scorpion fish a size of a thumb on the beach, must be the wave that brings it here. The video was shot using WH1 on HD mode 1280 x 720 pxl, without zoom. The water was not crystal clear actually. Its a gorgeous fish... and camcorder. =P

  • Hi. So far so good with me. I mean, yes I use it in salt water & couple month ago I use it to shoot my kid swimming in a pool. Everything went okay until today, no error or died.

Just a little tip from me though, always clean up your cam after you use it underwater. Take out the battery, the SD card, open the charger socket and clean all the electrical circuit. Keep it dry. Although it sealed, but it might be some water drops and sands left that needs to be cleaned. :)

  • I just bought one. Waiting for it to come in. Is it still a good camera? I was watching other videos people posted with the camera and some said their camera died going into salt water. So now I'm worried about buying it.

  • Well, the manufacture claim it can go to 3 meters deep. But I never try it before. ;P

  • how deep does it go?

  • thanks! amazing creature isn't she. :)

  • cool! nice video.!
