So why use this instead of a normal golf ball?

@234trance I am glad you asked. This is a common question. The answer is that it travels a very short distance only forty yards. This is the distance from home plate to second base. What this means is that you can get true ball striking practice away from the golf course. So back yards, parks and open spaces become great places to practice hitting a golf ball.

I Love Filling my Coffee mug and taking a doz Birdieballs loaded on My 7 iron and hitting Jacksonville Beach. I put my Flip Flops about 30-40 yards apart and go back and forth! Ya Gotta love a free driving range once you spend the initial $

So, I'm just about ready to order some Birdieball, but I have one question first. Is the pad required to hit them correctly? I would prefer to use them straight from grass or just from the foam tee.

@redtide08 No pad is required. Just hit them like God intended, right off of the grass.
