@falcione Sorry, I've been waiting to use that point I made and got sick of waiting for someone deserving. ;D
-
@10INTM Alright.

@falcione Well, give it another 76 years and it could be us who are called "racist" for something we didn't give a second thought about. It's easy to sit in judgement with our hindsight, but we don't know where sensibilities will head in the future. I can see it now: "You old people were such racists for listening to rap. That music degraded blacks and prepetuated a negative stereotype that took decades for them to emerge from. You're worse than the minstrel shows!"
-
@10INTM -shrugs- I do what I can.
-
@falcione Oooh, you're sooo progressive! Killing everyone else's mood by pointing out what we've already noticed.
-
@10INTM Plus a *pinch* of good ol' fashioned 1935 minstrel-show racism.

I would've been scared of this one as a kid! 0_0 I probably would have thought I was going to wind up like Pluto did the next time I got in trouble (which I rarely did)!

Man, Mickey was cruel to Pluto in this one! <:/ But Pluto did do something wrong, and some people really do think they are going to recieve the same punishment even for something that can easily be forgiven. Guilt is a such a common feeling.
Do you realize how incredibly intelligent Pluto would have to be in order to have this kind of nightmare? It involves an understanding of the justice system, a grasp of rhyme and verse, and the intelligence to pepper a nightmare with symbolism.
