How can you show a user the upload process of a file in a concise yet complete way ? Here's my proposal, developed in Java.
Each file is represented by an icon.
A surrounding bar shows the status of the elaboration.
If the bar is blue, the file is being upload. A "spinner" effect gives a feedback about the file actually being upload and not hooked. The surrounding bar length represent the part of the file that has been already uploaded.
If the bar is red, the upload process failed, if it's green it succeeded.
