Those wood chips (which I bought too at first as pet shop owners are pure evil), actually cause respiratory disease in torts. Change to aprox 50% soil 50% play sand. It's cheaper in the long run. For all I know you may keep them outdoors in a large enclosure for most of the time but incase you don't, vivariums are bad and cause loads of problems that will cost you a fortune in vets bills one day. Go to the Tortoise Trust website and forum for lots of great info and advice. Good luck : )
