Although I am not Greek and often times it is said that if you're not Greek you should not speak on Greek business,I really have to say this.Growing up I've always admired the outstanding class that Delta Sigma Theta so carefully represented.Now I'm a college student and I'm in total disbelief that this is the image being portrayed by some women of DST.Please bring back the class and elegance that you were founded on not just for your sorority but as a representation of black women as a whole.

@BadGyalJady I'm a Sigma, but I'll say this on the topic. Most people will say, "You're a man, so yeah ur gonna like it" but even if I was a woman (no homo) I wouldn't have a problem with it. Times change. Back when DST and all other sororities were founded the women looked like the black version of little house of the prairie. You can't expect them to dress and act like they did in 1913. You expect them to stroll in dresses?

@BadGyalJady Don't look down on a sorority, more importantly a BGLO just because of a stroll competition. Although strolling is important in a sense, the work (scholarship, community service, etc.) that members do for their organization is way more important.

Deltas RAISES BARS--not lowers them as shown in this performance, (and other performances from other sororites like it). Some of these movements being done in these shows are ridiculous and the sorority founders ( this and all others with this same display ) should be rolling over in their graves if they are deceased. Some of thise moves belong on a strpper pole or a porn show.  Deltas are not a sorority of porn queen or video vixens. DST and all the sororities should be role models .

Everyone lets be clear- camo shorts and sneakers are not cute nor are they classy on a woman. They look like they want to be the bruhs. Popping and snaking their bodies is not a good look either. They look bad, regardless of what sorority they are members of. They look dirty. Seeing this video made me want to give them a bath and tips on flattering, feminine shoes.

As a soror, i thought they did an awesome job. EVERY sorority uses sensual dances in their routine yet people come down the hardest on DELTAS. Please view the Atlanta Greek Picnic AKA video where they are wearing heels like a stripper, very tiny silk shorts, belly tops, and dancing like video vixens yet they claim to be so classy. I attended this picnic and the AKA performance was 1.5 seconds away from PORN. Deltas were dressed in camoflauge pants, boots and a tshirt. Stop hating on them.

SMH.... WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?!!! All I see is complaint after complaint and I'm deeply saddened! DST was founded in 1913 the current year is 2011 (not to be obvious, nor am I a Greek), but as we know everything has changed!!! I see nothing wrong with their performance, they're not dressed in a sleezy manner so what happened to the unity or sister/brotherhood?! Now a days all I see is frats/sorors putting one another down! They did an outstanding job and please stop judging! Only God Can

Oh please, these young ladies are doing nothing any different than what is done in the club...there performance is not provactive, hell how are they suppose to be dancing, I mean really, doing the "Charleston"?? It's 2011 and their dancing is appropriate for this picnic.

So come down off of your high horse. This was a stroll off and just because the strolls don't look the way they did in 1960, that doesn't give u the right to bash us! And for the record, THE DELTA RHO CHAPTER DOES uphold the principles of the sorority and we also carry ourselves as such so don't talk down about us because YOU DON'T KNOW US. No disrespect to the adults but I'm very passionate about my organization and I will not allow the negativity.

That definitely showed a lack of class & that is not the actions of a Delta woman. My LS's worked EXTREMELY hard and got cheated out of a win.
