stop complaining about their japanese. They spoke perfect Japanese and every single native/fluent speaker should understand what they said. The fact everyone is complaining about desUUUUU just shows how not-fluent you all are since the biggest mistake they made was to read imasu as irasu from their paper....

They could've at least reviewed acouple pronunciation rules on the 14 hour flight there though. They were pretty good besides the non-silent "u," having never studied before.

Their Japanese was very good for a foreign non-speaker reading off a notecard. To you "Oh, I've been studying Japanese for three whole years and their Japanese sucks" people: Duh. They *haven't* been studying for three years. I could understand them perfectly. Perhaps three years hasn't been enough for you, if you couldn't. ;)
