Buy at http://www.shapeways.com/model/96696/overlap_cube_2x2x23.html Copyright (c) 2010 M. Oskar van Deventer Overlap Cube is a 2x2x23 Rubik's Cube, styled like overlapping roof tiles. Being order order 23, it is the largest order twisty puzzle at the time of shooting this video. The previous world record was Unlucky Twist 1x2x13, which can also be bought from Oskar's Shapeways Shop.

This puzzle was 3D-printed using nylon-powder SLS technology, which explains its price. It is the very first prototype, costing its designer and maker a lot of money to create. Please do not confuse it for a cheap mass-produced puzzle.

  • does this cube shape shift?

  • @cubebirder No.

  • Hi I got two of your puzzles for my birthday, this is one of them. I got the four quarters together but I just don't get how those two middle pieces connect them, and when I was trying to attach them on of them broke, what should I use to repair? and where do I get stickers?

  • @mantellanicky Please contact me about this privately, and send me your email address. Thank you. Oskar

  • You are so cool! All of your puzzles are very creative, I only wish that you had more resources so that they could all be mass-produced and sold at lower prices.

  • @GeneralStoopKid Thank you. It is not just my resources, but also the negative business case, unfortunately ...

  • when you mean highest order puzzle do you mean like layer wise like most layers on top of each other?

  • Are there actually existing algorythmes for these cubes? Do you make them up yourself? Or do you just have to find out while twisting and puzzling?

  • Do you produce all of them by yourself? Because it is pretty damn good!

  • i love your cubes, i just hate the price
