  • it's a very sad story. all thought i imagine she will have passed by now as i think this movie is from the early 90's or something

  • Grace died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 79 in 1990. Her husband and loving caregiver, Glenn, has passed only recently in 2008. A care presentation for Grace is available on the Video Press website.

  • wow...i wish i could see this film.

  • "Grace" can be purchased through the Video Press website. However, you may want to check your local library to see if they carry it or ask them to acquire a copy so your whole community can share this touching story.

  • oh my god..i watched the whole movie on orientation day for my job and i cried like a baby!! i work with patients who have alzheimers and i love it. it's difficult at times because some ask why they cant remember things or they say things that break my heart. but i love these patients and im willing to be the loving and supportive person they need by their side to deal with this disease!!!

  • You are a horrible person.

  • The end made me cry :"(

  • My great grandma passed away a month ago. She knew who I was vaguely, but ill never forget how happy she'd get when we visited her.

  • This is so sad. My Grandma has this, and it's like she's here, but she's not. My mom always says that it is really sad that me and my sister didn't get to meet the fun and silly side of her. Now she is so confused it is almost scary. She had 2 cats and they are so overweight because she keeps feeding them, not remembering that she already did. I always cry when I think I never got to meet the real her, I just got to meet the confused, grumpy side of her. Let's hope they find a cure.

  • Cruel illness it really is, my nan has this would not wish on an enemy :(

  • Its like she's there but she's not. This is very sad. I would die if my mom ever forgot who I was.

  • My grandfather has just recently passed away from alzheimers

  • The guy in the glasses shouldn't be making fun of old people like that.

  • My grandmother has this. Its sad. My grammy is in stage 1 1/2

  • @sherysista yeah i think as the illness progresses the person eventually forgets how to talk and sing. in the end they will have forgotten everything and everyone that they loved. but the disease will not take away the love from their family and friends

  • @BCLASSICHORROR how would you like it if a loved one of yours went through what Grace and countless others went through with alzheimer's disease?
