During the Oct. 14 2010 debate between Congressman Maurice Hinchey and his opponent, George Phillips for NY-22, the candidates are asked to detail their deficit reduction program. It takes Mr. Hinchey roughly 1/3 of his allotted answer time to figure out what "deficit reduction" means. His opponent, Mr. Phillips, takes time to explain it to him.

Also very amusing how now all of a sudden the Righteous Right are all worried about their "children's futures"! Perhaps cut down on your number of divorces is a better way to protect your children's futures. HInchey is 71. This looks like an early stage of some type of dementia or alzheimers. This is not meant to be mean or insenstive but we have to face up to the obvious. Maybe it won't get too advanced for the next two years but the Democratic Party needs to put another candidate for this job in two years if he gets elected again.

Phillips is full of bovine fecal matter. He would rather see roads go to hell, and jobs to to China, than spend money here in the USA. He wants a return to Reagan days, which is what started us in this economic spiral. The spending spree started with BUSH, when he spent trillions on a war, based on a lie. Bush was handed a surplus, that he turned into the largest deficit. If you want to return to that, than vote for Phillips. I will not!
