@joe12544 It's Brazilian Portuguese, and she already did. When the V's ships first show up, one of the cities they're hovering is Brazil, and Anna is speaking in Portuguese (Anna speaks to each country in their native language).

It´s portuguese. Period.

@betomates Are you fucking high? Brazilian Portuguese is very, very different than Portugal Portuguese. Look it up. PT-BR is not the same as PT-PT, the same way that EN-US is not the same as EN-EU.

Sure, they're both "portuguese", but they're not the same.

About what she says on Firefly, my colleague at Animesuki was so kind as to briefly sum it up for me:

"In the first video she says that she was broke and decided to go to Los Angeles for a week to try her luck. In the second day, she got a part in the sci-fi series "Firefly" by Joss Wedon that eventually became the movie "Serenity"."
