  • that is so painful.it hurts my spine.how to prevent this pain?

  • @MissKissize Don't roll on your spine. Roll across your back, from shoulder to hip. NOT down the middle of your back, on your spine. I never feel anything that hurts my spine.

  • Great tutorial, and thanks for the tips....!

BTW can you help me about one thing?

When I do the first roll practice, from kneeling position, when you come all the way to the ground and roll, everything looks alright, I roll from one shoulder to the other hip. But when I try to add the hands and roll, I go from one shoulder to the same hip. Can you tell me what I might be doing wrong?

  • I would have to see it to be certain, but my guess is that you are not aligning your body correctly before you roll, or changing something mid roll.

Make sure you are standing in hamni before you start your roll. Envision the line of the roll going from hip to opposite shoulder, roll slowly and pay close attention to what you are doing, see how it differs from what you ideally want to do, and start making adjustments.

It often takes awhile to "get" the feeling of the roll, take your time.
