PEDRAM PLAYS...Mysterious Habitats By Dusan Bogdanovic

This is a segment from a concert in Arte Bar La Latina in Madrid on December 18,2008. Mysterious Habitats is written in 1994 and bares a dedication to Sharon Wayne. This piece has a unique 5/4 ostinato pattern that provides the melodic line and the rhythm a very natural flow. I learned it from my teacher Dusan Bogdanovic in 1998 and have been playing it since then in every solo concert I have had. I have added an introduction that is completely improvised in every performance. Special thanks to Dusan for teaching me this piece.
