is the LSX and LS7 same size? will it fit into an engine bay of an ls7 without mods?

I'm in the US. I've heard of guys making 700hp (at the crank) normally aspirated with an LS7. Mine is probably 600 at the crank and only has a mild cam. To boost an LS7, you probably need to replace pistons with forged and lower compression.

It was a crate motor. It was about $13k for the motor and another $5k for all the accessories and wiring harness.
