I am in my early fifty's, have had a serious accident , broken back, neck, fused vertebrae, messed up hip, so I am not as agile as I once was, I was confronted by three meth heads in a bar a few months ago, if you are not aware of the effect of meth on people consider yourself lucky, those bastards don't feel pain, in a matter of seconds all three of them were on the ground gasping for breath while I was just waiting for security to arrive, these techniques work very well, DO NOT HESITATE !!!

@Wizzydoofer - yes, it is a demo. It is valid to show something at a slow speed. But it shuld then be followed up by a full speed version. This seems to be one of those techniques that relies on the so called attacker freezing for an instant.

This is very common, and very poor.

read my other comment, in a demo u must wait for instruction, if u just kick instructor in the balls when hes teaching u, he will get rather anoyed!

I hate that "but what if I do this ?!" mentality;

specific drills need specific instruction, some body could say

"yes, but what if I shot u?!" etc, irrelevant at this instant.

Looks pretty good to me. If viewers were better versed in critical study rather than just looking at it they might better understand the Uke is standing still because the other person is practising etc. The street effectiveness is there to be seen in the moves if you care to look. Having said that, would many of these critics know good stuff unless you took them down with it in the first place? This is a recording of training and demonstrations not a staged stunt fight for the movies.

nice stuff but it takes some boy to block a fast 1,2 left hook when they are coming fast
