The new Pentax 645D is one of the most exciting cameras to come along this year. This 40 Megapixel medium format camera functions like a current 35mm SLR, and is much less expensive than comparable high end cameras.
The Camera Store's Chris Niccolls and a small crew decided to test Pentax's claims of a rugged, weather-sealed body delivering professional image quality. Check out the video to learn our impressions!

i almost bought this camera, but decided buying a house was more important lol....$10,500 here in Canada....just ridiculous! gimme a 5D Mark II and im happy.

I was at a Pentax press event last year and they had these to play with. I wish I tried it for a much longer time or did a video now that I think about it.

@according206 Chris and I usually drive to shoots in the Lada, even during winter. It's the most terrifying part of my job.

@qantasman777 This was shot on the JVC HM100. The HMC150 just shipped. Awesome camera for the price and size.

Criss, youv'e done an awesome review on the Pentax and it's an amazing camera. How well will it work with the pocketwizard Mini TT1 and FlexTT5 ? Would be nice to hear.

@guspo1 Unfortunately, there isn't a Pentax version of the Pocketwizard TT transmitters. You could use them as a sync transmitter but no TTL. Just grab the regular PocketWizard Plus II Transcievers for the 645D.
