  • Do I need a sight to mount this Quiver? I prefer shooting on instinct.

  • are all quivers universal? or certain quivers fit on different bows?

  • This quiver will work but it will work best with the dovetail extension on the sight extended the farthest outward to allow for the mounting dovetail of the quiver to be attached so the quiver can be mounted closer to the bow. Either way you should not have any problems mounting it.

  • It's nice to see a fellow Fob shooter. I will be ordering a Sword Apex Micro sight with the extension bar and it has a knob for QD. Will the Tightspot work with this sight?Thank you for the video.

  • Thanks for the video

  • Yes fobs will work with this quiver. I personally have shot fobs with this quiver since it came out.

  • FOB

  • It will depend on how far back the mounting holes sit on the sight you have. If i remember correctly, i don't do much with trophy ridge sights, but there is multiple mounting holes. You can mount the sight as far back as possible it may turn around. I am shooting an maxxis 35 and a carbon matrix this year and with my ascent it is not a problem. You can also contact tightspot and they also have spacers that will allow you to turn the bracket around for a closer fit. phone # is 406-388-2546

  • Bryce, you mentioned that on most Hoyts you will have to mount the dovetail base facing out, but on this Alphamax you mount it facing in(closer fit).

How will it mount to a Maxxis 31? facing in, our out? If it helps my sight is a TropheyRidge Alpha V3.

  • This quiver works on traditional bows that have the mounting holes for a sight

As far as your carbon matrix goes you will have no problem. I am the person in this video and i have a matrix this year and it makes the bow quiter than it is now and takes what little vibration the bow has and dulls it to nothing at all.
