Interlacing Artifacts Show Up In New PSP-3000 LCDs

A number of users over at the official PlayStation forums are reporting that the LCD screen found in PSP-3000 units has poor de-interlacing quality, resulting in a somewhat noticeable reduction of image quality in fast-moving sequences displayed on-screen.

Forum user Prothean supplied a video clip that shows the aforementioned issue in action. As you can see, scanlines are visible when moving between icons in the XMB. The same effect is nowhere to be seen on the PSP-2000 unit, which is compared to a 3000 model side-by-side in the video.

If anything you shown the huge ghosting problem of the PSP-2000 which i didnt think of it as much of a problem but if you consider this a problem then you must have coke-bottle glasses to notice this

The scan lines isn't a big issue, you could barely notice them. If nobody didn't say anything everything would of turn out fine. The only people that I mostly see bitching about the 3000 is that they already have a 2000.

The interlacing is probably more noticeable here because he's using a regular camera to show us the interlacing (But guess there's no other way right?). Like whenever I see the news and there's some guy behind a computer or something, its always loaded with those interlacing lines. I think that the psp interlace shown here is a bit over exaggerated. But please do prove me wrong cause I have never tested one out and looked at the screen.
