@JoeOnTheRoad @JoeOnTheRoad A hilariously late reply. This was made for filming use actually. I have a picture of the mount posted on my blog. It's oolau.blogspot.com and it's september 2008. For some reason I can't post links.
It's an old bike rack that we hacksawed in a couple different places and added the wooden board. It works pretty good, actually. I did do a shoot with it. The video is called 'Who?" by sugarfoot comedy. Check it out.

Very kool stuff, I've just finished watching all the videos, So why are you guys doing this? For racing or for personal use. Also, in test 3 do you have a picture or a video of the mount you made cause I am looking into something that will hold my cam while I am driving for work. Thanks.
