@RichHartley19671 Yes, but that was before everyone in the country started looking like Chris Farley. Maybe the lady was onto something?

Man...that breakfast that the woman in the One-A-Day commercial is eating can't be more than 300 calories! One over-easy egg, a cup of black coffee, two pieces of wheat toast? Maybe a little more if she's having oleo on her toast. And she's going to slave away at housework all day? The poor woman.

Note what's on the TV screen at the beginning of the "One-A-Day" commercial, as "Mrs. Average Housewife" is gabbing on the phone: it's one of Buster Keaton's famous Alka-Seltzer" commercials [also from Miles Laboratories]- the one in which he doubled as both "The Mountie with the sour stomach" and "The Criminal"- that can be seen in its entirity on YouTube (if you know where to find it!).

Actually, I think in this case "The Ford Show" was actually "The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show," hosted by Tennessee Ernie Ford (of "16 Tons" fame). He does kind of look like Dennis James, though...

I like the cash register that has .25 rung up.....Big money back then.....

In case it hasn't been said enough, thank you so much for posting even pieces of this game show. This is almost like unmined gold, and one would think there was more of this out there somewhere.

I also have stuff from Shokus but they only have one ep of this show, the 67 Challenge of Champions as Hondo20132 mentioned. I'm still waiting on my DVD (from eBay) and I'm getting impatient, LOL.
-
I'm looking forward to part three, and any subsequent parts. Seeing these eps gives me a new love for the original series.
-
the one on Shokus is from a 10/2/1967 tournament episode.
Is this the ep found on DVD? I just bought a Game shows vol. 3 (not the Shokus one) with an ep from 1958.

It might have been put on a public-domain DVD, but I got this through a trade with somebody (who, I think, said that he had stuff from Shokus DVDs).
In any case, I did *not* get this from a store, online or otherwise.
