Copper Country workers, parents, students, teachers, union members, Democrats, and even some people who voted Republican in November, came together on a bridge for unity on April 2, 2011, standing against the war on workers waged by Michigan's all Republican controlled government. This is the beginning.
There were several speakers at this rally. Video was available of two of them.

Very well done Houghton! Looks like you had almost as many as we did in Grand Rapids, although we had plenty of "drive-bys" during rush hour who honked in support. Now we just need to find a way to get them out of their cars/off their asses and walking along side of us in solidarity.
