  • I am interested in getting a mild relaxer. I am biracial, and I believe our hair might be similar. I was just wondering, does getting a relaxer get rid of frizz. The only reason why i would like a relaxer is to get rid of frizz. THanks so much.

  • @colorfulsin The relaxer is just going to loosen your curl pattern. Sometimes frizz is a product of damage, and relaxers can damage the hair, so I would be very careful.

  • @colorfulsin Relaxers dont just get rid of frizz. Real relaxers DO STRAIGHTIN HAIR. i wouldnt suqqest getting a relaxer.

iDk what she used, but the relaxers ive been getting since about 6(which i am now STOPPING, i HONESTLY have never felt biracial because of my hair being relaxed) straighten my hair.

  • @mixedmamiiD My hair is still quite curly with relaxers. I have been getting them since age 12 and I have always still had curly biracial hair and would have to use a flat iron to get my hair straight. I agree that relaxers are not the answer if frizz is the only concern.

  • looking at your hair you and i have very similar hair but it doesnt seem like you are using adequate products for relaxed hair. Most of those products are for healthy or well unprocessed hair A great relaxer is phytospecific and it allows the curl to be slightly more defined and healthy and i doubt you should be washing your hair every other day. Also you should be alternating had proteins like emergencee and hydrating treatments every other week. hope ive helped* i hv waist length relaxed hair

  • I'm always open to product suggestions. What treatments do you like besides emergencee? (I tried that one and didn't care for it at all) I've gotta wash it every other day though - any longer just makes me feel unclean.

  • I love that proclaim glossing polish!! I use it EVERY DAY after I straighten my hair or blow dry it. It's sooo nice! and my hair is soft and shiny ! :)

  • -not saying your hair looks bad- but it looks like its heat damaged, probally cause the relaxer straightened it out, and i think you should comb it when its dry..it looks like dread locks kinda, your really prettty tho.

  • I love ur hair and ur so pretty!! :)

  • Another great spray from bed head that gives soft hold is spoil me i can use it everyday with no residue or crunchiness :)

  • do u have hairstyle videos?

  • u should try instyler to have straight hair never use al them chemicals bad for ur hair in the long run

  • DO NOT! GET A RELAXER.

  • @oBostonLvr when you have a relaxer, it is normal to still have to flat iron your hair lolz

  • I'm biracial too I'm Cape Verdean and Irish, you have beautiful hair my hair is very similar to yours except your hair is a bit longer and mine is a little less curlier, wondering have you ever used black hair care products on your hair? I would love to try them but always assumed they were a bit too heavy. I use Bed Head like you
