About Bingo_McDingo
I'm a stay-at-home Dad / house-husband for my wife and three children. My life is pretty much about making sure my children are where they need to be at the right time and obsessing about the laundry.
I applied for a place on the plinth ages ago when I first heard about 'One & Other'. I liked the idea of the diversity of people and actions that the plinth would see over the course of the project.
Of course, as soon as I found out that I'd been offered a place, my mind went blank as to what to do with my time. I'd assumed that I'd go and have a bit of a 'Dad Dance' - you know, like you see Dads doing at Weddings and Christenings, usually to Status Quo. My children - especially my two boys - hate it when I start dancing round the house, so I thought that the opportunity to annoy them as part of an art installation and historical document was too good a chance to miss.
But there's always other ideas out there - I'm canvassing family and friends for ideas, so what I finally come up with may yet be a surprise for all concerned... including me.
Excellent song from a brilliant band. I love the new album. Long live Marillion.
