Exactly! You obviously truly understand real Egyptian dancing, how it is done and how it should look. It is not a hyperactive highly choreographed thing where the dancer makes everyone turn away say: "foreigner" not Egyptian. Dandash is dancing in the music not chasing. Most Americans and Europeans do not really understand about this dance. It is "relaxed" yet that may be the hardest thing they try to do and get it right. The worst example is BDSS. Let us make a circus

Perfectly stated. That is exactly "IT" with Egyptian bellydancing. It is not about those redundant boring choreographies that are everywhere. A lot of American/Euro dancers dont understand. It is about THE FEELING with great Egy dance. Not cramming a million different steps into a show, props galore or have this huge movement vocabulary, we dont want to see that. It is all about a limited, minimalistic, simplification. The strong woman, passion, expression, rough/rawness that's real & perfect.
