The week after I did my coffee business trip to Sul de Minas, (see "cupping in sul de minas"), I visited Santo Grao and Suplicy. Santo Grao is certainly a classic-contemporary example of how to mix good cafe food and excellent specialty coffee. I was interested in how Brasil retails espresso based drinks, and learned a lot from my visits that weekend. Our family is in Minas, Goias and Brasilia, I test roast/sample green beans and brew at our espresso-test counter at home. (past member scaa, usa)
